Happy Birthday

Alivia turned three!! We had her birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese, this was her choice. We tried to persuade her to change her mind and have her pirate party at home but it was a no go. The family came from Utah and G-Ma Pat made that awesome skull cake. We had a great time.

First Day of School

Aren't these two the cutest kids you ever saw. I can't believe that Sophia is big enough to go to Kindergarten. So after a week of me having separation anxiety and not knowing every second what Sophia was doing, I pulled her from the charter school she started at and now she comes to Martinez with me every day. She is so happy and so am I. She hangs out in the morning with me and then comes to my room after school, it's awesome. Alivia is a little jealous but she is still going to grandma's and the community college preschool were she is well taken care of and loved.

Beach

This was our beach trip. After Disney we traveled to Huntington Beach. We stayed in an awesome hotel right on the beach. The girls had a blast. Livi stayed out of the water because she said it was to cold. Sophia was doing awesome riding the waves in. I told Cody (again) that I would work two jobs if we could live right on the beach. He still didn't give in!

Our last vacation of the summer was a trip to Southern California. We went to Disneyland and the beach. We were so lucky because Grandma Pat was able to come with us!!! She's never been to Disney and what a great first trip, spending it with you grand kids. This trip Disney wasn't as busy as when we visited at Christmas. We rode Pirates first thing, Livi loved this because of her crazy obsession with them. I've never seen a three year old girl who loves pirates as much as her. Sophia was able to ride almost everything this time so her dad had a great time because he finally had a partner to ride the roller coasters with! Livi was a little sad because she wasn't tall enough but next time she reminded us that she would be bigger.

Cowgirls

Are these not the cutest cowgirls you have ever seen? Uncle Nyle is the best, he saddled Ginger and let Sophia, Alivia, and Chloe all have a ride. This was the highlight of Sophia's trip to Utah and it's made her even more determined that she is going to have a horse.

Utah/Camping

Utah is the most beautiful place I've ever been. I love to come home! We were lucky and went camping with the Anderson family in Fairview. We(Cody and I) can't get enough of being in that beautiful state and my girls can't get enough of riding the four- wheeler, getting dirty, and playing with their cousins. The worst part is when we have to come home and leave all those people and that place(Utah) behind!

Concert

So for my Pioneer Days fun I got to go to Kenny C. in Salt Lake. I was a tad disappointed because Sugarland canceled, but I had so much fun I soon got over it!

Competition Season is Over!

Well dance competition season is over(not dance but competition). They did awesome at Stars National, Sophia's team won first place in both Lyrical and Jazz for their age group. They also won Grand National Champion for the Micro Mini Division with Top Scoring points! Sophia took second place in the preschool division during drill down. Were so proud of her, she loves dance so much, and has made so many friends. She can't wait till team try-outs in August.

Father's Day

For Father's Day we went to Logandale to ride the four wheeler. We were lucky and borrowed a four wheeler from Cody's dad. Sophia and Cody had a great time but Alivia on the other hand didn't. She cried the entire time and was screaming at me to stop, don't go so fast, I'm scared, and I want to go home. When we were all done she told Cody and I that she was fake crying(There was no way that it was fake).

T-Ball

Sophia started playing t-ball. What's even better is that Cody is her coach. There is nothing like watching five and six year old kids hit. catch, and run the bases(most run them out of order). I love for Thursday's to come. Go Yellow Lightning!!

Easter

Easter was great! My mom, brother, sister, and niece came. This is the first time that anyone from Utah has visited for this holiday. We had a wonderful time. It really makes me miss everyone back home when they have to leave. My mom stayed for the week and had a great time. She really did a lot for herself, me, and the kids while she was here, She seems to be on the road to recovery(even if it's going to take longer than she would like). I'm so thankful that she's o.k.. Enjoy the pictures, we colored eggs and then went to church on Sunday. I really love having family visit.

4-wheeling

We went riding on Sunday in Logandale. It was super fun and the weather was great. I know everyone in Utah is biting their lip when I say it's nice here because of the new snow you just had. When we left the wind had started to blow pretty hard (we do get alot of high winds here). Alivia finally fits in her helmet so it doesn't bother her so much. We had a great time.

Spring is Here!

Spring is here! We had a cook-out on Saturday with a few friends. The kids had a great time, the weather was awesome, and the food was good. Who could ask for anymore.

Track Break!!!!

Monday was my first day of Track Break!!!! It is a very needed break for the girls and myself. We were lucky because our dad had the day off too, so we went to the Natural History Museum and lunch. We won't be heading to Utah this break were going to kick it at home. We are very excited because our Grandma Jacky is coming to visit!

STARPOWER

We went to California for Sophia to dance at, "Starpower". She has been working so hard since September with her team (The Micro-Minis)to be ready. They danced their little hearts out and placed first with their lyrical dance and recieved a gold medal for their character dance. She loves it so much and can't wait until the next competition.

Beach

Last weekend we went to California for Sophia's first dance competition. We had the chance to go to the beach. It was Alivia's first time and she loved it. Of course she had to fall in the water first thing, get wet, and dirty. I loved every second of it! The girls are excited to go back in June. I told Cody I would work three jobs just live on the beach.

This weekend is the big Nascar race in Las Vegas. Uncle Jason flew in so that he and Cody could go on Saturday and Sunday. I'm not a race fan so it was fine by me that I didn't go.
My girls couldn't wait for Jason to get here. Poor Uncle Jason really wasn't on much of a vacation between pushing Alivia on the swing and jumping on the tramp. We were sad that the rest on the family didn't come but we can't wait till our first camping trip of the year to spend it with Uncle Jason and his family.
Instead of going clubing the club came to us and these crazy guys and girls did alot of dancing las night!

Valentine's Cookies

So Alivia loves decorating cookies! As you can tell from her picture. Sophia and she decorated them the other night, it was enjoyable. Liv thought that the conversation hearts needed to be licked like a stamp in order to stay on her cookies. Those cookies were placed on a special plate that I won't disclose what I did with. But you got to love her!!

Hello

Well I've finally broken down and decided everyone is blogging I might as well do it to. Cody and I moved to Las Vegas eight years ago from Rhode Island. We have two wonderful kids, a dog, and not alot of spare time. But we did manage to get away and come home (Utah) for the new year. We spent it in Fairview at a friend's cabin. My girls had never seen or played in so much snow!!
